“Today, businesses moves at the speed of thought. The internet enables a perpetual cycle of interaction and feedback with customers about a company’s products and services on an international scale.

Successful companies of today are extremely agile across all functions.
They are able to adjust and adapt rapidly to constantly evolving business constraints. The education curriculum offered by the International Institute for the Management of Logistics is comprehensive and provides its graduates with a cross-functional understanding of business requirements and processes.

These foundational competences and knowledge have provided me an array of professional opportunities – first in Supply Chain Management and then evolving into a multi-disciplinary leadership role. The IML has been my gateway to an unbelievable international career full of exciting experiences and learning opportunities. I can only recommend this comprehensive program to students who are looking to broaden their business knowledge and aspire to become the business leaders of tomorrow.”

Denis Jaquenoud,
Vice President of Operations Richemont North America Inc.

“One year at the IML really worth it! The program proposed provides a global overview of the supply chain and allows getting a good understanding of the whole value chain. You will acquire at the IML the knowledge of logistical systems and learn how to manage them. You’ll become familiar not only with supply chain topics such as planning, transport, procurement, manufacturing, customer service, but also with broader themes as finance, controlling, marketing and human resources. Project management is also well included in the scope. All modules are highly qualitative and the professors and external presenters will share with you their personal rich and various experience. Theoretical courses along with practical exercises and case studies guarantee the best learning. Following the program you will become part of the supply chain talents pool and then answer companies’ needs and expectations. You will have the relevant skills to become a future supply chain expert. It’s also definitely a unique opportunity to meet people with different cultures and backgrounds, and to have a lot of fun while intensely studying!”

Regional Planning Manager, Nestlé

“In a short time, the training at IML gave me an outstanding overview of the supply chain and enabled me to rapidly take on new challenges and be efficient in my role as a demand planner. The modules combining theory and case studies, as well as the international experience of the trainers provide a first-class education. The training also enabled to create an excellent professional network.”

Christine Nordström,
Demand Planner, Nestlé Suisse

“IML’s Global Supply Chain Management program was a unique experience both in content and format. The wide variety of topics addressed provided for a comprehensive coverage of Supply Chain and thus outstanding insight in the domain. The teaching faculty had excellent credentials: theoretical and practical, from public and private sectors. The pace of the program required intense personal involvement. Students with diversified background and education favoured exchange and enhanced the learning experience. Supply Chain understanding so gathered can be put into practice on a daily basis.
IML’s Global Supply Chain Management program is suited to start in the area as well as to confirm one’s existing knowledge in the field.”

DANIEL OERTLI,
Head of Supply Chain Merck Serono, France

“When you start to study at IML you are fast wrapped in the hectic week-to-week subjects and exams. There is a feel that we don’t get focused on the overall ‘big picture’. Then you continue with internship and you live your sponsor company reality through business case project. Independently of the size or reputation of the company the same struggling complexity of supply chain is apparent. And then in many cases IML student contribution is perceived as a major achievement. This is highly encouraging and confirms that results in supply chain are frequently not obvious. Long time later, with experience and exposure you start to appreciate even more all this fine combination of experts, networking, general and practical knowledge acquired at IML. I warmly recommend IML as non-standard executive master program that will orient you to the arena of broad supply chain expertise and build your professional network for a life.”

Vladimir Krasojevic,

Dr. Luigi Battezzati,
Visiting Professor of Operations, Politecnico di Milano

“Thanks to IML I am now able to make a tangible contribution to the Swiss and Austrian businesses of Procter & Gamble. As Market Planning Manager, I am responsible for the logistics support of some of our well known brands (such as: Ariel, Pampers, Always and Pantene) in these two markets. I am accountable for a number of key-areas that have a direct impact on the companys success in the market place and on the price we have to pay for it: I am accountable for the timely roll-out of new product innovations in our markets; for maintaining high service-levels to our Austrian- and Swiss customers; and – last but not least – for providing accurate forecasts to our plants in Europe, in order to ensure reliable supply of product.

The IML helped me to get ready for these challenging tasks in several ways: IML provided me in a relatively short time with a comprehensive overview of the latest logistics concepts. This helped me to get up to speed in my current job in an amazingly short time. An important part of the course consisted of case-studies which were done in a team with other students. The learning I got from those team-exercises are of great value to my current job, as I was sensibilized to the importance of teamwork right from the start. Last but not least, the IML showed me in how many different ways logistics can have a significant impact on the business of all kinds of companies.

The course also showed me how much room there is for further innovations in this relatively new discipline and much more there is to learn. In short, the IML has put me in an excellent position for an international logistics management career in one of the worlds largest consumer goods companies.”

Quirijn van Olden,
Market Planning Manager, Procter & Gamble Austria-Switzerland

“La formation IML balaie très large; elle donne une vision ample du secteur qui va du client au fournisseur.

L’approche pédagogique est bien maîtrisée, notamment dans la progression des modules qui démarrent par la théorie et se concluent par des cas pratiques. Les intervenants ont vraiment une expérience internationale.”

Thierry Harnois,
Planer Manager WIP, ALCATEL

Busines engineer, DAHER
